A room temperature curing Thixotropic, pigmented epoxy compound
Epoxy Gel is a specially formulated compound having Thixotropic consistency. It is to be used with room temperature curing hardners such as Hardner-Epoxy-PAM. Epoxy Gel Adduct ,Epoxy Hardner PAM is a fast curing system with hard cured mass.
Water thinnable Epoxy System is two pack system. It is supplied in two equal parts ( by weight ) of Resin and Hardener.
The fully cured system has the following characteristics

Applicaton Method
- Epoxy-Gel with Hardner-Epoxy can be applied by brush or spray. Thinner Epoxy addition is necessary to adjust the viscosity for a particular application
Mixing Properties
- Epoxy-Gel : 100 (parts by weight)
- Hardner-Epoxy PAM : 8-12 (parts by weight)
- Hardner AMD 140/160 : 35 (parts by weight)
- Gelcoat Adduct : 10 - 12 (parts by weight)
Formulation Characteristics
- Low pot life of mixture
- Fast cure at RT
- Hard, glossy cured film
- Good adhesion
Curing
- Epoxy Gel / Hardner-Epoxy
- at 30°C : 24 hours
- at 40°C : 10-12 hours
- Further curing at 80-100 / 4 h suggested
Field of Application
- The system is suitable for finishing coat on varnish impregnated coils, transformers, Stators, armatures and other components of electrical machines for improved resistance to track, moisture and chemicals.

- Epoxy Gel Red : 3x1.0 kg = 3 kg
- Epoxy Hardner 140 (equ. To dr beck’s eh 411) : 1x1.0 kg = 1 kg
- Epoxy Thinner ( thinner 221 ) : 1x0.9 kg = 0.9 kg
