Mixing Proportion & Processing
- Epoxy Resin 505-FR: 100 parts by weight
- Hardner 509-FR: 90 – 100 parts by weight
- Accelerator: 0.1 – 1.0 part by weight of Resin
Curing Schedule
- At 110 -120°C - 1-2 hours
Pot Life
- Pot life of the mixture varies with Accelerator Proportion, and storage temperature with 1 part by weight Accelerator
- Pot Life at 80°C : 60 – 70 min
- Gelling Time at 120°C : 12 min

- Specimen cured for 6 hrs at 80°C + 3 hrs at 120°C

Field of Application
- Epoxy Resin 505-FR / Hardner 509-FR / Accelerator is suitable for casting, potting and encapsulation of electrical and electronic components such as switch gears bushing, current a voltage transformers, bus bar support assembly. Due to fast gelling behavior at high temperature TAB systems s ideally suitable for manufacturing of casting by pressure gelation technique.
- Recommended for Glass fiber impregnation / lamination by lay up or Pultrusion Technique.
- Ideal for impregnation of electrical machines suitable for temperature class F
