Method Of Application

  • Surface Preparation
  • A sound ,clean and dry is absolutely essential for successful coating application and in ensuring maximum bonding between the substrate and flooring system.
  • Concrete surface should be freed from latencies and dust by sand blasting. Thorough abrading with hard wire brush
  • Chemical etching using 15% hydrochloric acid solution should be employed. The solution is applied by brush over the surface liberally and left in contact for 15 minutes. This is then washed off with plenty of water followed by drying with hot air
  • For good adhesion, cleanliness, roughness and dryness of the surface are essential. Unless these are ensured by proper surface preparation a successful performance is not possible
  • Apply Epoxy primer . All cracks present based on the depth of crack should be filled either with epoxy putty or mortar

Mixing

  • Hardner Component is mixed with Base resin in a suitable mixing vessel. A suitable power driven mixer / stirrer is recommended for uniform mixing of the self leveling coating . Mix well for 5-6 minutes till the components become homogenous. Apply before expiration of the pot life.

Application

  • The entire mixed material should be poured onto the primed surface and spread slowly and evenly. The laid material should be rolled firmly with a spike roller to ensure compactness and de aeration of the film.
  • The floor should now self smooth to an even colored dense, impressive floor
